Build your Kid Icarus AR card deck early

So, any word on how the cards will be made available? Will the game come with all the cards or will we be able (or forced to, depending on your outlook - i like collecting things) to buy card packs for new cards?

I'm still hoping for AR Character card packs, but I guess with the internet and printers most people will just print them out... so it might make it a bad idea for Nintendo to invest money into something like that. I'd buy them. @EndynOmni

Nintendo already has the means to do this-- they took over the Pokemon Trading Card Game from Wizards of the Coast a few years back once WOTC decided it wasn't profitable anymore (which, at least from my perspective, wasn't a smart move on WOTC's part; at a recent general gaming event up here in Pittsburgh, there were more Pokemon TCG players than Magic or Yu-Gi-Oh players... combined). @John Z

[EDIT:] I wasn't really clear with my point, sorry. What I mean is, it's not that big of a deal for Nintendo to supply the cards-- it'll only cost them marginally more to print and distribute these, should they go with a semi-TCG route, than to not do it, and the benefits of the sales would likely offset any card-copying. Plus, it's a limited market-- they know they only need to print x number of cards, where x is less than or equal to the number of copies of KIU they print. At the same time, though, I don't think it's going to be a "buy packs" thing, but rather just something similar to how the AR Games cards were handled.

Now, that said, if anyone was going to handle the concept of a trading card game/AR thing, along the lines of Eye of Judgment (only with, y'know, a good game concept and technology that actually recognizes the cards), it'd likely be Konami, with AR Yu-Gi-Oh. But that's not likely to happen anyway, because it's a good idea.
